Hi everyone,
I hope you are all having a good day so far. I wanted to update you guys on what’s going on with The Bakery and why there haven’t been any pastries in the past couple of weeks.
To cut to the chase, I got an opportunity to write for a local newspaper (yay).
It’s really exciting to be working with a well-established online newspaper, and I see it as a step forward for my career goals. I’ve wanted an opportunity like this for so long, and sometimes it’s hard for me to realize that it’s actually happening now.
So, now that I’m writing for an organization on a deadline and still juggling being a full-time college student, posts on The Bakery have slowed down. However, I have not forgotten about my lovely readers here at The Bakery.
I plan on posting more often once I get a handle on things, so I look forward to more posts. I’ve also decided to post my stories from the online newspaper here as well for archival purposes and have some extra readings here for the newsletter. These will be called Archival Rolls.
Once again, thank you for staying tuned for what’s to come. I plan to continue offering freshly baked thoughts here at The Bakery.
